22nd October 2006 Surfing: Borth Wind Direction: clam Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: 2ft surf Air Temperature: 14C Sea Temperature: 15C Weather: overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: Saw that the trap looked good from my bedroom window so I rang Al to see if he fancied going out for a surf later on. We decided on Borth as it looked a bit cleaner than Ynsylas and got out there whilst Boothroyd was watching wishing he was out there but a sprained ankle meant he was restricted to the beach only wishing he could go out surfing - aaaaaa I spent the majority of the session on Als 5'10" Fish which felt more like a body board it was that small. I managed to catch 1 or 2 waves with it but it was pretty tricky but not as hard as I expected it to be. I caught a few decent waves with my board. Good to go out surfing again and made a change so 3stars for me. That wrapped up a good week and a half of windsurfing kitesurfing and some wild nights out in Aber once again. |
